Nemmank Foundation Bolsters Community Welfare with Modern Sanitation Facility in Abiriba:-

In its ongoing commitment to uplifting communities and enhancing the quality of life for residents, the Nemmank Foundation has made a significant stride in Abiriba, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State. Through the visionary leadership of its founder, Engr. Nwoke Kalu Igiri, the Foundation has successfully addressed a critical need for improved public sanitation with the construction and delivery of a modern hygiene facility.

Understanding that access to clean and dignified sanitation is a cornerstone of public health and communal well-being, the Foundation designed and constructed a 3-unit public toilet and shower facility for the Ndi Emewu compound. This purposeful project provides separate, secure, and hygienic amenities, replacing inadequate alternatives and offering a dignified solution for residents.

The impact of this facility is profoundly community-wide. It stands to benefit over 100 individuals living within the Ndi Emewu area, catering to a broad demographic with ages ranging from 5 to 95 years old. By serving the very young to the elderly, the project underscores the Foundation’s inclusive approach to community development, ensuring that essential amenities are accessible to all generations.

Completed and officially handed over to the community in December 2025, the facility is more than just a structure; it is a testament to the Nemmank Foundation’s practical philanthropy and Engr. Nwoke Kalu Igiri’s deep-rooted dedication to the sustainable development of his homeland. This project not only promotes better health outcomes and environmental cleanliness but also fosters a greater sense of pride and comfort within the Ndi Emewu compound.

Nemmank Foundation continues to demonstrate that targeted, grassroots interventions are key to driving meaningful progress, setting a commendable example in community-led development.
